Liza Keast
Voice, Speech and Performance Coach
About Me
I have many years' experience as an actor and singer on film and stage and have performed in cabaret in a number of venues in London including The Crazy Coqs and The Pheasantry.
Over the last twenty-five years I have taught in various colleges including the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and London Drama School, where I was Head of Singing and coached aspiring actors of many nationalities on their speech, working on the clarity of their pronunciation and their intonation patterns.
I firmly believe that anyone can be taught to sing - not necessarily to become an international recording artist (!) but at least for the joy it can bring to the singer. Because of this I created the "Only In The Bath" singing workshop, specifically for people afraid of singing in public, for the Actors Institute. In 2010 I was invited to be the featured expert for the Britain's Got Talent Kit on Stage Presence and Performance.
I am a member of the British Voice Association and have a Level 3 TEFL Professional qualification.
